Brief Introduction
Ph.D. in Geography and Resource Management from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, specializing in urbanization theory, China's urbanization transition, and urban-rural governance with spatial planning. Research focuses on two main areas: 1. Exploring extended urbanization phenomena and urban-rural transformation in contemporary China through Urban Political Ecology and Planetary Urbanization; 2. Conducting financial urbanization studies and developing spatial performance evaluation/optimization systems for local government bonds using spatial political economy and econometrics. Published over 10 first/corresponding-author papers in journals including City Planning Review, Urban Planning Forum, Geographical Science, and Journal of Transport Geography. Awarded the Gold Award in the 6th Jinjingchang China Urban-Rural Planning Graduate Thesis Competition, Second Prize in the 17th National Youth Urban Planning Paper Competition, and Honorable Mention in the 4th Jinjingchang China Urban-Rural Planning Graduate Thesis Competition.
